JOYCE AAMOT
I am Mrs. Joyce Aamot, welcome to the 3rd Grade web page. About me: I earned my degree in Elementary Education, with Kindergarten Certification, and Psycology Concentration from the University of Minnesota, Morris. After 15 years, I still enjoy saying I am the 3rd grade teacher at Morning Son Christian School.
I use humor to evaluate abstract thought, keep the classroom energetic, and at times give discipline without harsh words. Each student comes with diverse learning styles. I like to teach in a variety of ways such as use of manipulative, small group instruction, and LOTS of literature in order to provide contrast in everyday instruction.
My husband and I have raised two sons and have a keen appreciation for the balance it takes to parent. I am blessed with family, my own, my wonderful Morning Son family, and as a member of the family of God. Welcome to 3rd Grade!
